Luqa Locality Meeting - 15/10/09

The meeting held in Luqa saw a great participation from the local residents with approximately 80 participants. Those present were able to make a good number of proposals which are listed underneath:


§         Development of Local Shelters
§         Development of the Hal Farrug Green Area
§         Organization of a Yearly Maltese Night
§         Embellishment of Alleys Leading to Farmhouses
§         Develop Luqa as the Entrance to the Maltese Islands
§         Local Heritage Trail
§         Restoration of Local Niches
§         Production of a Regional Calendar of Events
§         Make Luqa as the Last Top before Departure from the Island
§         Facilitate Ease of Use for People with Special Needs
§         Develop Activities for the Youths and Elderly
§         Further Promotion of Local Artists
§         Promotion and Marketing of Local Drama Schools
